CEU NURSING STUDENTS ENHANCE SKILLS IN INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM
CENTRO Escolar University School of Nursing continues to deliver world-class education with the successful completion of an International Student Exchange Program with the Budi Luhur Institute of Health Sciences in Cimahi, Indonesia.
Under the theme “Rendering Safe and Quality Nursing Care in the Community Setting,” the program aimed to expand CEU nursing students’ global perspective and practical experience in community healthcare.
Sixteen nursing students from CEU’s Manila, Makati, and Malolos campuses participated in the program, which involved curricular and cultural activities in Indonesia’s healthcare setting.
The students engaged in community activities, working in local health centers and visiting families, gaining first-hand experience in primary healthcare and community needs.
“These experiences provided invaluable insights into primary health care and community-specific needs,” CEU stated.
The program also refined students’ clinical skills and cultural awareness, preparing them for diverse nursing care settings.
Joylyn Mejilla, Assistant to the Dean for Instruction of the School of Nursing, coordinated the program to ensure a meaningful experience for all participants.
