CEU MUSIC PROF RECOGNIZED BY PH CONSULATE IN BERLIN
THE Philippine Consulate in Berlin commended a music professor from the Centro Escolar University for his performance in the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood.
Prof. Lester Delgado and the One Global Voices @ Work recently received a letter of recognition from Ambassador Irene Susan Natividad.
“Our guests and fellow Filipinos were enthralled with your rendition of patriotic songs, OPM and classical pieces. You proudly showcased the Filipino’s innate talent and artistry in music,” Natividad said in the letter.
“I wish you and all the members of the chorale continued success in your professional and personal endeavors,” she added.
Delgado is also the conductor of the Centro Escolar University-Singers Makati. He clinched four Gold Prizes at the 3rd Bali International Choral Competition in Indonesia in 2014.
He has been invited to lead choral clinics in various countries including Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau and Canada
Delgado also authored 10 books, known as the Misa Delgado Book Series, designed for the Liturgical Celebration of the Catholic Church.
