CEU ACHIEVEMENTS REFLECT COMMITMENT TO SCIENCE AND EDUCATION EXCELLENCE
CENTRO Escolar University has celebrated remarkable achievements by its officials and faculty from the School of Science and Technology.
Dr. Julieta Z. Dungca, Dean of the School of Science and Technology, was honored with the title of Registered Microbiologist from the Philippine Academy of Microbiology. This recognition highlights her leadership and expertise in microbiology.
Assistant to the Dean, Ms. Eden Joy P. Alata, made a significant contribution to science education with her research publication, “Development of Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA)-aligned Science Curriculum Framework for K-10 Learners in the Philippines.” Her work aims to enhance the global competitiveness of science education in the Philippines.
Faculty member Rissa A. Lasap brought international recognition to CEU by winning top honors at the 29th Biennial Conference of the Asian Association of Biology Education (AABE) in Matsuyama, Japan. Her research, “The Development and Evaluation of Virtual Laboratory Modules in Human Anatomy and Physiology,” showcases innovative approaches to biology education using technology.
“These accomplishments are a testament to the School of Science and Technology’s unwavering commitment to academic and scientific excellence, demonstrating CEU’s dedication to advancing education, research, and innovation,” the university stated.
