CENTRAL PHILIPPINE STATE U NAMED BEST FLEXIBLE LEARNING IMPLEMENTER
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education recognized the Central Philippine State University in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental as the best implementer of flexible learning in the region.
CHED said that the school was recognized for its adherence to the agency’s Memorandum Order No. 4, Series of 2020 or the Guidelines on the Implementation of Flexible Learning and CHED Memorandum No. 6, series of 2022 or Sustaining Flexible Learning in Higher Education: An Addendum to CHED Memorandum No. 4 series of 2020.
The Commission recognized PSU efforts in implementing appropriate teaching and learning approaches, retrofitting facilities and other teaching-learning resources, formulating policies, procedures and guidelines.
CPSU said that the recognition was proof of its commitment to provide quality, relevant, responsive, and effective instruction and services to its students.
Dr. Riza Stephanie Alfaras, dean of the University Graduate School, received the award for CPSU during the 2nd CHED Regional Quality Awards.
Through the Quality Awards, CHED acknowledges the efforts and initiatives of Higher Education institutions in the areas of instruction, research and community extension.
