CENTRAL LUZON STATE U UNVEILS P210-M ONION STORAGE PROJECT

/ 28 March 2023

THE CENTRAL Luzon State University held a groundbreaking ceremony for its P210-million onion cold storage project.

The project was a product of partnerships with the provincial government and the Department of Agriculture.

The storage will rise at the Fruits and Vegetables Seed Center in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

Once completed, the storage can house at least 120,000 bags of onions.

The project is CLSU’s way of supporting the farmers and the onion production in Nueva Ecija.

The province is one of the top producers of onions in the country.
