CENTRAL LUZON STATE U UNVEILS ENVIRONMENTAL MUSEUM

/ 1 December 2022

THE CENTRAL Luzon State University has launched its Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management Museum which aims to promote environmental protection.

The museum will serve as a platform for educational campaigns on research and education to help protect the environment.

It features the biodiversity of the country from ridge to reef and green technologies like phytoremediation and light detection.

“Through this museum, students and other stakeholders will become more aware of the ecological and economic significance of biodiversity and likewise of the role of humans in protecting, conserving, and preserving the environment through research and education,” CLSU said on its website.

The museum used to be the CLSU Biodiversity Center. It was renovated to accommodate more visitors through the Integration of Green and Remote Sensing Technologies Towards Food Security, Sustainability, Health and Safety of the Environment project of the Commission on Higher Education Development Fund.
