CENTRAL LUZON STATE U TRAINS FARMERS, FISHERFOLK ON AGRI-FISHERY LECTURES
THE CENTRAL Luzon State University held training seminars for farmers, fisherfolk, women and youth to further their agri-fishery education.
The lectures were held in several villages in Tarlac.
The university’s “Lakbay AgriATM: Agri, Set, Go! – Roadshow” lecture series of the Agri Aral Tekno Mobil program aims to help workers adapt to changing times.
Among the topics discussed were farming, goat production, fisheries and entrepreneurial opportunities.
CLSU said that the lectures are important as global warming threatens food security.
Participants can be chosen as beneficiaries of the Commission on Higher Education’s “Asenso AgriATM” which aims to empower startups and local businesses to address food insecurity.
