THE CEBU Normal University ranked 37th among the universities in the Philippines, the recent Webometrics Ranking of World Universities said.

The Webometric Rankings ranks universities based on their web presence and promote open access publication of scientific results.

Webometrics ranked 289 universities in the Philippines.

CNU jumped 23 spots and landed on the 37th place from 60th in 2020. It also placed 588th in Southeast Asia, 4695th in the whole Asia, and 11482th globally.

The University of the Philippines claimed the top spot for the nationwide ranking.

Meanwhile, CNU was also recognized as the top-ranking state university in the country by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines in 2020.
