THE Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines has granted Level IV accreditation and re-accredited several undergraduate and graduate programs at Cebu Normal University.

This milestone was confirmed by AACUP President Dr. Anthony Penaso, according to CNU College of Teacher Education Dean Venus Cortes.

“This achievement reflects the legacy (“pamana”) of our former CNU administration and the unwavering dedication of our new administration under Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr., whose leadership fosters a culture of quality and collaboration across all areas,” Cortes said in a Facebook post.

The accredited programs include BS Elementary Education, BS Secondary Education, MA in Education, BS Nursing, and MS in Nursing.

Leading this achievement is CNU’s College of Teacher Education, which earned the highest number of Level IV accreditations.

It sets a national benchmark for educational excellence, the university said.
