CAVITE STATE U TIES UP WITH UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL MISSOURI
TO BOOST the internationalization of its programs, the Cavite State University has collaborated with the University of Central Missouri.
A Memorandum of Understanding on Educational Cooperation signed by Dr. Philip Bridgmon, Provost and Chief Learning Officer of UCM and CvSu President Dr. Hernando Robles
aims to provide educational opportunities and sharing of research between the two institutions.
“The agreement also includes short- and long-term faculty exchange, collaborative research and discovery learning; and teaching and other mutually-agreed upon educational research,” Robles said.
Under the agreement, UCM offers a non-resident scholarship to degree-seeking applicants from CvSU who will be able to fulfill the admission requirements.
Lily Freida Milla, director of the Commission on Higher Education’s International Affairs Staff Office, said that the partnership would enrich the programs of each institution “with diversity and quality standards.”
“It will also further empower CvSU to continue enhancing their activities and programs despite the pandemic,” Milla added.
US Cultural Affairs Officer to the Philippines Matthew Keener described the CvSU as “a wonderful partner of Education USA Philippines”, stressing that the university has been proactively seeking out partnerships in the new virtual interaction.
He reiterated EdUSA Philippines’ utmost support to institutions that would like to explore educational linkages with universities in the United States.
The University of Central Missouri is known for its flexible environment, convenient schedule, and online courses and programs that provide high-quality instruction in a supportive community of learning.
It has been cited by The Princeton Review as the best college in the US’ Midwestern Region for 15 consecutive years.
