AN OFFICIAL of the Cavite State University was elected as one of the country’s representatives to the ASEAN-QA Association.

CvSU Carmona Campus Administrator Dr. Cristina M. Signo will serve the post from 2023 to 2025.

The election results were recently announced during the ASEAN-QAA Forum 2023 at Politeknik Negeri Bandung in Indonesia.

Other country representatives are from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas and the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

ASEAN-QAA is an association composed of individuals involved in the development of quality assurance in Southeast Asia higher education institutions.

The ASEAN-QAA is in partnership with the ASEAN Quality Assurance Network, the ASEAN University Network, the German Academic Exchange Service, the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the German Rectors´ Conference, the University of Potsdam, and the Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development.

Its inception is motivated by mutual interest among the alumni of Dialogue for Innovative Higher Education Strategies ASEAN-QA TrainIQA from 2011 to 2018 for networking and sharing of resources.
