CATANDUANES STATE U TO TEST STUDENTS, TEACHERS WITH COVID SYMPTOMS
THE CATANDUANES State University said that it will test its employees and students who manifest Covid19 symptoms.
CatSU on Monday said that the initiative is in response to the decision of the government to raise the alert level in the province of Catanduanes to 4.
The budget for procuring the Antigen Rapid Test kits were sourced from private funds, CatSU said.
University President Dr. Patrick Azanza said that the test kits will arrive soon. The university will train at least 5 of its nurses to do swab testing.
He also called on prospective donors to help the university with the initiative.
The province has 353 active Covid19 cases, with a total of 2,632 confirmed cases, 108 deaths, and 2,176 recoveries as of Tuesday.
