CATANDUANES STATE U OPENS ITS FIRST MEN’S DORMITORY
THE CATANDUANES State University extended its on-campus boarding facility by opening its first ever men’s dormitory.
The university said that the “men’s dormitory will serve as the cornerstone of CatSU’s commitment to providing its students with a well-rounded education as they prepare to become individuals who are destined for success and excellence.”
The dormitory has 62 rooms and was designed to accommodate more than 200 students. Each room is furnished with bunk beds and mattresses and can host four students.
The dorm has separate lodgings for visitors and an office for the dorm manager.
The two-story building also has a kitchen and common study area to provide a conducive learning environment. Free wifi connection is also guaranteed along with the deployment of security guards and CCTV for safety purposes.
The dormitory will open for occupancy before the year ends. Each student will pay P1,200.
