TO PROVIDE its community some respite from distance and face-to-face learning, the Caraga State University on Wednesday announced a one-week academic break.

The break will be from November 30 to December 6, 2022.

There will be no in-person classes, synchronous, asynchronous learning sessions and deadlines during the furlough.

“CSUans, it is time for ACADEMIC BREAK!!! All faculty members and students are hereby informed that the schedule for academic break is scheduled on November 30 – December 6, 2022,” the university wrote on Facebook.

Some students cheered the announcement, saying they also need time to unwind and relax.

The Commission on Higher Education allowed tertiary students and personnel to participate in face-to-face classes regardless of their vaccination status against Covid19.

However, CHED Chairman Propsero De Vera III said that a flexible learning setup will be retained for this school year depending on the discretion of colleges and universities.
