THE UNIVERSITY of Caloocan City will soon have a new campus.

The city government broke ground for the construction of a four-story building in its campus in Barangay Bagong Silang.

Mayor Oscar Malapitan said that the building will be the main campus for students taking up engineering and business courses.

“This is my gift for Caloocan students on my birthday — the construction of another UCC campus for those who want to be engineers,” he said.

“We want more students to have access to quality education,” he added.

The mayor vowed to continue education projects during his term.

“Until my final years as Caloocan mayor, I will do my best to fulfill the promised big projects, including the projects for the education sector,” Malapitan said.
