CAGAYAN SUSPENDS CLASSES; BULACAN STATE U IMPLEMENTS ACADEMIC BREAK
CAGAYAN Governor Manuel Mamba suspended classes in all levels in public and private schools until the end of November to give students and faculty time to recover from the effects of Typhoon Ulysses.
Mamba said students and teachers should be given ample time to recover from the effects of the worst flood in the history of Cagayan. Last week, Typhoon Ulysses submerged most parts of Luzon especially Cagayan Valley.
Meanwhile, the administration of the Bulacan State University declared an academic break from November 19 to 29 after receiving requests from students and faculty who were affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
“Let this be a time of reflection for all of us to gain insights and move forward. And most of all, we call upon all BulSUans: let us kneel, humble ourselves, and pray earnestly for God’s grace and love,” the university said.
