CAGAYAN State University President Urdujah Alvarado lauded Sen. Pia Cayetano for granting the school additional budget.

Urdujah thanked Cayetano for approving the P91.1 million budget increase for the university’s College of Medicine.

She said that the additional fund will help the school produce more professionals in the field of medicine.

“Once again, Cagayan State University has benefited from your benevolence. The granting of a total of Ninety-One Million One Hundred  Ninety-Two Thousand (P91,192,000) for the increase in the carrying capacity of the College of Medicine will surely be of help to our fellow Cagayanos and those from nearby provinces who would like to serve the country in the field of medicine,” Urdujah said.

“We are immensely grateful, Honorable Senator,” she added.

President Rodrigo Duterte recently signed the “Doktor Para sa Bayan Act” which aims to help students pursue medical education and training.
