TO BOOST its internationalization efforts, the Cagayan State University has signed a partnership agreement with the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

A memorandum of agreement was signed on April 17 by CSU President Urdujah Alvarado and UTM Vice Chancellor Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail.

UTM is one of the leading engineering and technology schools in Malaysia.

The signing was witnessed by CSU Vice President for Academic Affairs Mariden Cauilan, CSU Senior Scientist Maria Nilda Muñoz and UTM Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering Dean Rahmat bin Mohsin.

“The two university heads expressed their excitement in collaborating on areas towards teaching and learning for students as part of career development and kick-starting promising research development projects,” CSU said.

“Tokens were exchanged where CSU presented a woven fabric while UTM conferred a Plaque of Best Compliment,” it added.
