STUDENTS of the Cagayan State University topped the essay writing contest during the Provincial Youth Summit held by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

Randhel Soriano and Daryl Medios, both 3rd year Accountancy students, were declared champion in Cagayan and Isabela provinces, respectively.

Emiterio Nicolas, a 1st year Accountancy student, placed second while Christian Dulin, a 3rd year BS English student, was third.

Soriano and Medios will represent Cagayan and Isabela in the regional level.

The virtual competition held on October 9 had at least 20 contestants from each province.

The DILG conducted the Constitutional Reform Provincial Youth Summit with the theme “Angat Probinsiya, Angat Pamilya”.

Other events held during the summit were Digital Poster Making Contest, Short Film Making Contest, Songwriting Contest, and Tiktok Challenge.
