THE CAGAYAN State University has inked an agreement with a university in Indonesia for the implementation of partnership programs for students and personnel .

Officials of CSU and the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara signed the Memorandum of Understanding virtually.

The agreement will pave the way for cultural exchanges and a chance for the schools to meet each other’s academic community through cultural presentations, viewing of institutional videos, and presentation of key university officials.

The event also led to the launching of the International Conference on Futures Thinking Towards Sustainable Development Goals which will take place on December 17, 2021.

The conference is a collaboration between the Cagayan State University and the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Indonesia; Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia; Thai Nguyen University, Vietnam, Smart Cities Network, Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Cagayan Chapter, and Philippine Association of Medical Technologists – Cagayan Chapter.
