/ 23 March 2021

THE CAGAYAN State University announced on Monday that its Andrews Campus will be locked down until Friday, March 26, 2021.

It said that the extended lockdown will allow the Tuguegarao City Health Office to complete the contact tracing and testing of employees who were exposed to infected individuals.

CSU initially placed ts Central Administration Offices and Andrews campus on lockdown for five days or from March 15 to 19, 2021.

It advised its employees and visitors from other offices who came in contact with positive individuals to get in touch with health authorities.

“To those offices, however, having urgent tasks (like processing of salaries and other accounts payable) that may only be done in the office (like Accounting, Cashier, and Budget) and the office of the University Registrar, the head of [the] office must assign a skeleton workforce with 2 staff members per day,” CSU said on Facebook.

Offices in the Central Administration will continue operations through online transactions, it said.
