CAGAYAN STATE U BUDGET TO FUND ‘SMART CAMPUSES’
A BIG slice of the budget of the Cagayan State University this year will be used to develop smart campuses and to help in the preparations for the holding of face-to-face classes, officials said.
President Urdujah Alvarado and Fr. Ranhilio Callangan Aquino, vice president for Administration and Finance, listed some of the projects where the university’s budget will be used.
These include the development of SMART campuses and preparation for face-to-face classes which were allotted P51,300,000.
Health-related programs and support to the College of Medicine were allotted P13,300,000 and P120,866,000, respectively.
The “Capacity Development on Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight” program got P2,000,000 while the “Conduct of Sports and Culture Development” was allotted wP500,000.
The two officials thanked Sen. Pia Cayetano for working to provide the additional budget for the university.
“I join President Urdujah G. Alvarado in thanking Sen. Pia Cayetano, for the following items included in the budget of CSU under the GAA for 2022,” Fr. Aquino said.
“Thank you very much. 2022 has started on a very promising note!” he added.
