BURGOS NHS HOLDS CLASSROOM-BASED ACTIVITIES TO CELEBRATE WOMEN
TO CELEBRATE and recognize women, the Burgos National High School conducted classroom-based activities as part of the celebration of Women’s Month.
The two-day program held last March 30 and 31 included programs such as Juana Poster Making, Juana Stand and Deliver and Quiz Bee on Juana’s History and Magna Carta of Women.
Elisa Pascua, the coordinator, stressed the need to reawaken participation in promoting gender equality and inclusivity in social gatherings.
She pointed out that this must start at home and in school, which serve as the primary sources of education and reinforcement in the neighborhood.
The resource speaker, Avigael Joyce Ayson, emphasized the importance of knowing the rights and privileges stipulated in Magna Carta of Women.
Certificates of recognition were given to the teaching and non-teaching personnel of BNHS for their invaluable service and dedication.
