THE BULACAN State University mourned the passing of Dr. Honorio M. Soriano, Jr. , president of the Pampanga State Agricultural University.

Soriano was confined in a hospital last month for Covid19 complications.

He died on Monday at the age of 65.

Soriano headed PSAU for 14 years. He  saw the transition of the then Pampanga Agricultural College into a state university.

BulSU aired its condolences to the family of Soriano and to the PSAU community.

“President Soriano’s distinguished leadership, career, and accomplishments as one of the leading advocates of dynamic educational development of higher education in the region now stands as a fitting monument to his legacy and will forever be embedded in our hearts,” BulSU said on Facebook.

“Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are one with the whole PSAU Community, during this period of bereavement,” it added.
