BISCAST OKAYS ACADEMIC BREAK

/ 18 October 2021

THE BICOL State College of Applied Sciences and Technology has approved a four-day academic break to help students cope with the burden of distance learning.

BISCAST said that the move will also help students catch up with their academic backlogs.

During the break, synchronous or asynchronous classes will be suspended. The faculty was also advised to ease their academic load and extend the deadline of submission of midterm requirements.

The break will be from October 18 to 22.

“This is to provide our students ample time to complete their backlogs in their course requirements for midterm and time for relaxing and de-stressing,” BISCAST said on Facebook.

Students welcomed the announcement, noting that they need a break.
