THE BICOL State College of Applied Sciences and Technology will not conduct entrance examinations for Academic Year 2022-2023.

The school said that it will base students’ admission on their scores. The guidelines for the admission will be announced.

BISCAST cited the rising Covid19 cases as the reason for the cancellation. The Department of Health reported 39,004 new cases of Covid19 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the college consulted students and parents on the gradual reopening of face-to-face classes for all programs in the college.

The Commission on Higher Education allowed higher learning institutions to conduct limited in- person classes in areas under Alert Levels 1, 2 and 3 starting January 31, on condition that they have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted classrooms and approval from their respective local government units.
