THE BICOL University has converted its College of Agriculture and Forestry into BU Guinabatan campus.

The school’s Board of Regents approved the move last October 22 and launched the campus last February 8, 2023.

Other campuses of the university will also be renamed.

These are the BU Main Campus to BU Legazpi; BU Daraga Campus to BU Daraga; BU Polangui Campus to BU Polangui, BU Tabaco Campus to BU Tabaco; and BU Gubat Campus to BU Gubat.

A groundbreaking ceremony was also held for eight projects during the launch of the Guinobatan campus.

These include the repair of three classrooms at the Oropesa Building in the Mauraro Campus and rehabilitation and upgrading of the postharvest facility of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department.
