SEVERAL professors of Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania visited the Benguet State University as part of their Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme.

Professors Ricardas Narijauskas (botany), Sonata Kazlauskaite (plant pathology), and Arunas Balsevicius (botany) paid the school a visit from Jan. 17-20.

IRO Director Maria Luz Fang-asan introduced the group during its courtesy call with President Felipe Salaing Comila and VP for International Relations Stanley Anongos Jr.

The university engagement included visits to the Institute of Highland Farming Systems and Agroforestry, the Agri-Technology Based Innovation/Incubation Center, and the Cordillera Regional Apiculture Center.

During the trip, Lithuanian Mobility Alumni Jennifer Paltiyan-Bugtong and Jones Napaldet joined the guests.

Earlier, Judith Lawilao from the Department of Plant Pathology took the guests on a tour of the Baguio Botanical Garden and the Living Gifts Nursery, respectively.
