BENGUET STATE U OKAYS ONE-WEEK ACADEMIC BREAK
ACKNOWLEDGING that many students are suffering from distance learning burnout, the Benguet State University has agreed to implement a one-week academic break.
BSU President Felipe Comila said that the break will be from November 8 to 13.
Only asynchronous classes will be allowed on these dates. There will be no submission of activities, quizzes, and assignments.
All academic deadlines falling during the break will be moved the following week.
“It is the undersigned’s plea for all faculty members to consciously assist and lessen the burden of this new mode of learning, and view the entirety of the requirements for all the subjects given to a single student,” Comila said.
He instructed the faculty members to make “teaching materials and requirements lighter but delivering the same quality education” amid the furlough.
