BENGUET STATE U HOSTS 2 PROFS FROM LITHUANIA

TWO professors of Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania visited Benguet State University for the Collaborative Faculty Mobility Program.

Professors Asta Kyguolienė and Monika Didžgalvytė-Bujauskė visited the school from January 15 to 17, 2024.

They were hosted by the BSU College of Home Economics and Technology.

IRO Deputy Director Rex John Bawang introduced the group to the campus during the flag ceremony.

The delegates also had a courtesy call with BSU President Felipe Salaing Comila, CHET-IRO focal person Amelia Bawang, and CNAS-IRO focal person Maycel Sajise.

The university engagement included visits to the Institute of Highland Farming Systems and Agroforestry, the Food Science Research and Innovation Center, and the University IGP Centers.

The guests also explored the Strawberry Farm and Benguet Museum, enjoyed a welcome dinner with cultural dances by KONTAD, met Balik-Scientist Dr. Venecio Ultra Jr., and conducted lectures on international economics and customer service.
