/ 6 February 2024

THE Batangas State University has unveiled a new building, which “symbolizes the pledge to developing 21st-century leaders in the global knowledge economy.”

The 10-storey building features laboratories, classrooms, conference rooms, and multimedia rooms, which also serves as the tallest academic structure in the region, the university said.

The project had a budget of P271 million and was established after five years.

“This building, designed to cater to the ever-growing Red Spartan community, stands as a central pillar in realizing BatStateU’s mission of fostering lifelong learners and nurturing the next generation of leaders,” the university said.

“Through its state-of-the-art facilities, the Emilio Aguinaldo Building aims to inspire active participation in nation-building by providing relevant education, fostering groundbreaking research, and driving innovation,” it added.

The building was unveiled through an opening ceremony on January 23, which was attended by officials from the Department of Budget and Management Region IV-A and school officials.
