BATANGAS STATE U RECEIVES BOMB THREAT
THE Batangas State University has received a bomb threat, prompting the university to suspend classes and evacuate its campus grounds.
In a report by The LATHE, the official student publication of BSU Pablo Borbom campus, it said on Saturday (24 Feb 2024) that the university received a bomb threat and was investigating the matter.
Students were instructed to leave university premises as classes will be continued virtually due to the incident.
Batangas Police Provincial Office also investigated the campus grounds and no bombs were found on the campus premises.
It said that charges will be filed against the sender of the threat.
Several schools have also received bomb threats, including the University of Makati, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, and several schools in Bataan.
