BATANGAS STATE U PARTNERS WITH UNIVERSITY IN FRANCE

THE BATANGAS State University signed a partnership agreement with the University of Lille  in France to strengthen academic and research collaboration.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was presided over by Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, president of BatStateU. Representatives of ULille visited the university.

BatStateU is the first partner university to ULille in the country.

The ULille is a scientific, cultural and professional public institution. It has over 76,000 students and it is one of the largest universities in France and one of the prime universities in the research community.

Under the MOU, the two institutions will collaborate through faculty and student exchanges for the purposes of teaching, consulting, research and education, collaborative research initiatives, and other mutually advantageous activities.

Ronquillo said he was excited with the partnership.

“I would like to see the two universities collaborating for the improvement of our engineering education specifically in the field of electronics,” Ronquillo said.

Prof. Philippe Cordonier, ULille Chief Operating Officer for International Relations, thanked BatStateU for its warm welcome.
