BATANGAS STATE U PARTNERS WITH BRITISH COUNCIL FOR EDUCATION PROJECTS

/ 27 May 2021

THE BATANGAS State University was chosen as one of the partners of the British Council for a project that aims to lift the competitiveness of Higher Education Institutions in the Philippines through internationalization.

The British Council, through the help of the Commission on Higher Education, will roll out its Access and Competitiveness through Internationalization of Higher Education project which aims to build the competitiveness of HEIs by strengthening their capacity through internationalization.

The Council granted BatStateU two components of the project — Transnational Education and English–medium Higher Education.

Under the Transnational Education component of the program, the Council will help BatStateU with the co-development of a new graduate program in engineering by providing ties with a UK university.

Only 26 out of the thousands of private and public higher education institutions in the country were selected to be part of this partnership with the British Council.

The project will begin in June 2021 and will last for three years.
