ATENEO SUSPENDS COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM FOR AY 2022-2023

/ 19 August 2021

THE ATENEO de Manila University suspended its college entrance exam for Academic Year 2022-2023 because of the rising cases of Covid19.

“This is still due to the prevailing health emergency that will prevent the effective and safe administration of the entrance exam,” the university’s Office of Admission and Aid said in an advisory.

Just like last year, applicants will be screened based on academic and non-academic performance from Grades 9 to 11 and batch ranking at the end of Grade 11.

Admission will also be based on the applicant’s personal admission essays, recommendation letters, extracurriculars, and disciplinary records.

“The application period for first-year college entry will open in early September 2021, with the exact date to be announced separately,” ADMU-OAA said.

“Transfer applications, meanwhile, will be announced at a later date. More details regarding this year’s application cycle will be released in due time,” it added.

Applicants can visit the Ateneo college application portal at https://apply.ateneo.edu for updates regarding the admissions.

Inquiries can be sent to [email protected] or its official Facebook page.
