ATENEO SCHOOL OF LAW EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
THE ATENEO de Manila University School of Law on Friday extended the deadline for the submission of admission requirements.
The school announced that the new deadline will be on February 28, 2022.
“Applicants who are unable to obtain their documents (e.g., transcript of records, certificate of good moral character) by this date may upload a copy of their correspondence with their universities or colleges in the meantime,” it said on Facebook.
“The Admissions Committee will process these applications and may allow the applicant to take the entrance exam, conditioned on the subsequent submission of all requirements,” it added.
To qualify for the J.D. Program, an applicant must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Arts or Sciences, or a higher academic degree, from an authorized and recognized university or college.
An applicant must also have completed at least 18 units of English, six units of Mathematics, eighteen units of Social Science subjects, and at least three units of a Rizal course.
Pursuant to ALS policies, individuals who have enrolled and have been graded in at least one semester in any law school are not eligible for admission to the J.D. Program.
“Decisions regarding admissions are made by the Dean, upon the recommendation of the Admissions Committee, and taking into consideration the applicant’s scholastic records and abilities, entrance exam results, character references, and other relevant factors,” the school said.
“Ateneo Law’s J.D. Program has a full-time mode of study and is meant to be completed in four years,” it added.
