/ 12 April 2023

TO EXPAND its academic exchange activities, the Ateneo de Manila University forged a partnership agreement with Leave a Nest Philippines.

Ateneo President Fr. Roberto Yap SJ signed a memorandum of agreement with Leave a Nest Philippines Director Ronezza Delos Santos.

“The MOA highlights the mutual points of collaboration between the two organizations, including co-organizing events and activities that foster innovation and the sharing of expertise and resources between Ateneo and Leave a Nest,” the university said.

The Ateneo Intellectual Property Office committed to facilitate engagements between Leave a Nest and researchers, technologies and startups from its community for potential incubation, funding, or acceleration.

“This partnership between Ateneo and Leave a Nest Philippines is a promising collaboration that aims to empower innovation and drive growth in the fields of science and technology,” Ateneo said.

Leave a Nest Philippines, meanwhile, will facilitate industry-academe engagements between its partners and Ateneo’s researchers, technologies, and startups, as well as provide potential post-incubation roadmaps for Ateneo’s startups.

The organization will also promote joint activities and provide adoption and technology transfer opportunities for Ateneo’s technologies.

Several activities have already been planned by the two parties, including co-organizing a Tech Planter competition and an international knowledge exchange program.
