FOR the first time, the Ateneo de Manila University was included in the list of the world’s best universities in the field of Education and Social Sciences by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023.

The university’s Education was in the 401-500 ranking while its Social Sciences was in the 801+ bracket.

The rankings showcase the top institutions per major academic discipline, from the arts and humanities to the sciences.

The subject rankings use the data from the THE WRU but are evaluated based on the disciplines.

For Education, 655 institutions were ranked and 941 universities were included in the ranking for Social Sciences.

Meanwhile, THE WRU also ranked Mapua University in three fields.

The school was placed in the 801+ bracket for Computer Science, and 1001+ spot for both Engineering and Physical Sciences.

“This further testifies to the excellence and global competitiveness of the Mapua education and its students and graduates, enabling them to build a greater tomorrow,” the university wrote on Facebook.
