/ 17 June 2023

THE ATENEO de Manila School of Law will provide support to 51 students under its Aid Upon Admission grant program for Academic Year 2023-2024.

The grant aims to provide education to poor students with exemplary academic achievements.

“The selection process was exceptionally challenging this year, as Ateneo received an overwhelming number of highly qualified applicants from esteemed universities across the country,” the school said.

“Each applicant’s qualifications and financial needs were carefully evaluated, making the decision-making process incredibly difficult. The level of excellence and potential demonstrated by the applicants emphasized the significant demand for financial aid in pursuing a legal education,” it added.

The university said that 94% of the recipients of the Aid Upon Admission grants have either finished college with honors or are on track to graduate with honors.

“Ateneo Law would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to the recipients of the Aid Upon Admission grants,” it said. “Ateneo Law would also like to express its appreciation to all the applicants who put forth their best efforts during the rigorous selection process.”

It encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their academic and professional journeys.
