ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA GRADUATE RECOGNIZED FOR HAVING THE MOST PROFESSIONAL TITLES
AN ALUMNUS of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University made history for obtaining the most number of professional credentials and academic degrees.
Dr. Henry Oh, a graduate of AdZU High School in 1978, earned 42 professional titles including 33 credentials, six earned degrees and three honorary degrees.
“42 of his titles include Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Medical Technologist, Certified Neonatal Pediatric Specialist from the United States, Chartered Biologist and Chartered Scientist in the UK with a postdoctoral fellowship from the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Management in Europe,” the university said.
Oh was given the Official World Record holder award by the Record Holders Republic of United Kingdom and United States of America.
Similarly, RHK-UK and USA named Oh as the “Professor Who Earned The Most Post-Nominal Degrees” while Extraordinary People Awards also recognized him as the “2021 Man of the Year” for achieving the Official World Record.
“In 2019, Dr. Oh was a recipient of the Exceptional Merit Award from the American Medical Technologists, Inc and has been recognized in 2020 as U.S. Professor of the Year in Health Sciences by the Association of Clinical Scientists,” AdZU said.
“In the same year, he was also the president of the Lambda Beta Society, the national honor society for respiratory therapy in the USA,” it added.
Currently, Oh is the department head and a clinical professor of Health Professions at Idaho State University.
