ASU-IBAJAY CAMPUS INTRODUCES ONLINE ADMISSION TEST, FIRST FEMALE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT

AKLAN – Aklan State University- Ibajay Campus is a game-changer with its new university protocols to adapt to the ‘new normal.’ It also promotes different strategies to provide the needs of their enrollees and at the same time, ensure their safety.

ASU- Ibajay Campus launches the ONLINE UNIVERSITY ADMISSION TEST (OUAT) for its students’ convenience. Students are given access to the UAT Online Simulation Test and the UAT Online Examination System.

In their latest Facebook announcement, the OUAT Admission Committee provides a separate procedure to the OUAT takers outside the province of Aklan.

“In order to mitigate if not contain the transmission of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) and for the protection and welfare of Online University Admission Test takers, applicants from neighboring provinces of Aklan are advised to take the online UAT examination within their respective residence,” OUAT statement as per Memorandum Order No. 16- 353 s. 2020

The University switches to a text messaging method for their continuing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students to comply with their online enrollment technical issues.

Meanwhile, Aklan State University welcomes Dr. Emily Miralles Ramos-Arangote as its new and first-ever female president. To push the University to its goals in the coming years, Dr. Miralles envisions ASU to be the leading university in the Asia-Pacific region.
