ASIST ALLOWED TO CONDUCT FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

/ 9 March 2022

THE ABRA State Institute of Sciences and Technology has been allowed to conduct limited face-to-face classes after two years of distance learning.

The Commission on Higher Education in the Cordillera Administrative Region said that ASIST complied with the requirements of the government.

These requirements include those laid down by the Department of Health.

The commission requires the submission of a weekly report on the Covid19 situation in the region.

ASIST President Noel Baker Begnalen said that compliance with the requirements is part of the school’s preparations for the resumption of physical classes.

CHED said that schools opting to hold in-person classes must have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted classrooms, and approval from the concerned government agencies.
