FOUR undergraduate programs of the Far Eastern University were accredited by the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations University Network- Quality Assurance, deeming the programs at par with the education standards set by quality universities in the ASEAN region.

AUN-QA accredited FEU’s Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Secondary Education, and Bachelor of Elementary Education.

The university said the four programs are recognized for their strengths, ability to cope with digital trends in education and adaptability to the new normal.

“These add to the University’s growing list of AUN-QA certified undergraduate programs. Last November 2020, FEU earned the coveted accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Biology, and Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology programs,” FEU said.

FEU Vice President for Academic Development Dr. Myrna Quinto said that the AUN-QA assessment certification is “a crucial first step in the internationalization and standardization efforts of the University to ensure quality education for its students.”

“This puts emphasis on strengthening FEU’s benchmarking activities to achieve its aspirations of becoming a university of choice in Asia,” she added.

Dr. Aisa P. Arlos, Academic Quality Assurance director, said the university is preparing its application for the next round of assessment in 2022.
