/ 8 April 2023

THREE undergraduate programs of the Central Luzon State University were accredited by the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations University Network-Quality Assurance.

These are BS in Fisheries, BS in Biology, and BS in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.

The accreditation placed the programs at par with the education standards set by quality universities in ASEAN.

“We have done it again. It makes me proud how we collectively made an effort to accomplish this,” CLSU President Edgar Orden said.

“All our hard work paid off – I am so glad that we pushed each other, and never gave up. We never let a daunting task be in the way of our success. Mabuhay ang CLSU!” he added.

The AUN-QA assessment at program level (version 4) covers eight criteria including expected Learning Outcomes; Program Structure and Content; Teaching and Learning Approach; Student Assessment; Academic Staff; Student Support Services; Facilities and Infrastructure and Output and Outcomes.

AUN-QA coordinates activities to harmonize educational standards for the continuous improvement of universities in ASEAN.
