ARELLANO UNIVERSITY OKAYS ACADEMIC FREEZE FOR TYPHOON-HIT STUDENTS
THE ARELLANO University in Manila declared that students affected by Typhoon Rolly will be granted conditional academic freeze.
The school said the academic freeze will cover “those who are residing in areas that suffered from home damages, interferences, electricity and power loss, which are very vital in the current online set-up.”
These students will be excused from synchronous sessions for a considerable period.
To make up for the lost sessions, they will be given special activities for the requirements they have missed.
Students affected by the typhoon were urged to send a message to the dean or department chairman of the college immediately.
The university suspended classes on November 11 to 12 because of typhoon Ulysses.
