ANGELES CITY SCHOOLS HOLD PILOT BROADCAST OF RADIO-BASED INSTRUCTION

/ 2 August 2020

IN PREPARATION for the upcoming blended learning for school year 2020-2021, the Angeles City Schools Division Office has conducted pilot broadcasting of radio-based instruction for Grade 2 pupils.

The said activity was broadcast from two to three in the afternoon on June 26 via GV 99.1 Radio Network throughout the Central Luzon region and was simulated via FB Live.

While on air, Grade 2 learners are encouraged to participate in activities while listening to their teacher.

Parents, on the other hand, assist their children during the discussions and activities taught by the teacher. The students answered the questions after the story-telling.

The teacher used multiple choices for the children to answer the questions. Their parent or guardian, on the other hand, was the one who answered the test while the teacher said the correct answer.

Through this learning delivery modality, even indigenous people and those in the marginalized communities can be reached by education.

Students of the Sapangbato Elementary School and other schools in low-lying or flat areas benefited from such activities.
