ALL UPLB EXAMINEES PASS AGRICULTURIST LICENSURE EXAM

ALL 116 examinees of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños passed the Agriculturist Licensure Examination given last month, leaving the university with a 100 percent passing rate.

Graduates from the UPLB and the Visayas State University-Baybay shared the top spot in the exam, the Professional Regulation Commission announced Thursday.

Rio Sergote Antion from UPLB and VSU graduate Naomi Grace Manzano Lancita garnered a rating of 86.83%.

Jose Paoli Mancao Echavez from Silliman University and Gino Redulfin Taboy from Central Luzon State University both placed second with a score of 86.33%.

The PRC said 4,305 out of the 11,673 passed the exam held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The exam was given by six members of the Board of Agriculture, including chairman Emma Sales.
