THE AKLAN State University handed out cash aid to 1,000 of its students.

The cash assistance was provided by Aklan 2nd District Rep. Teodorico Haresco.

The recipients were students from the campuses of Malinao, Lezo, Makato, Numancia, and Tangalan.

The cash assistance was part of the school’s three scheduled payouts for its scholars.

The university’s I Love THEE, a page that highlights the accomplishments, initiatives, and pro-jects of ASU, said that the lawmaker will help build dormitories  in all of its campuses.

“Haresco also secured P20 million for the construction of dormitories in all the campuses of ASU with the aim of providing quality education, and improving the agricultural sectors through inten-sive research,” it said on Facebook.
