SENIOR High School students of the Ateneo de Manila University won awards in the 2022 National Asians High School Debate Championship.

The team of Jamie Antonio, Therese Bernal, and Anika Cajigal bagged the Novice Championship, beating other participants from other regions.

Bernal was also recognized as the Novice Finals Best Speaker.

Meanwhile, the group of Daniella Barbacena, Ira Concepcion and Aliah Garcia ranked 6th in the Open Category and was hailed as National Grand Finalist.

They ended their run as 1st runner up of the national tournament. They also made history for being the first all-women group to land in the finals.

Alshana Almeda was individually awarded as the 4th Best Novice Speaker.

NASHDC is the largest Asian Parliamentary tournament in the Philippines.

Over 130 debaters nationwide competed in the event, which was hosted by the La Salle Debate Society this year.
