THE ATENEO de Manila Senior High School Department declared a one-week health break.

The break will be from January 12 to 18.

Online activities, synchronous and asynchronous classes will not be allowed during the furlough.

There will also be no submission of activities, quizzes and assignments.

“We are hoping to give students and teachers and their families the needed time to rest, heal and recover, and attend to their household concerns arising from the current surge of cases,” ADMU-SHS Principal Noel Miranda said.

To provide adequate teaching-learning time, Miranda said that the department will adjust the school calendar as needed.

“We hope that you can take this time to rest and get well. Together with the entire Senior High School community, we pray for your continued safety, healing, and wellness at this time,” he stressed.

Several schools in the National Capital Region earlier cancelled classes and work amid the rising Covid19 infections.
